Giving You the Best Experience

Our income is based solely upon the Barber services provided to you, our clients, as a small business. We work hard to ensure that we offer an outstanding experience. In return, we expect that you, our guest, will make every effort to keep your scheduled appointment. While we understand that circumstances may arise that will require a possible cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment, the following policies are in place to ensure that we can accommodate all of our valued clients as efficiently and effectively as possible given the limited amount of available appointments per week.

 

PRE-PAYMENT

  • LJ’s Barbershop & Lounge is a very busy community barbershop in the heart of Chester, NJ. We receive several inquiries throughout the day for haircuts and dates fill up quickly. Therefore, we require a pre-payment of the service when booking. 

  • The deposit will be non-refundable if cancelled without 24 hour notification for reasons including but not limited to; traffic, change in services, weather, sickness, etc.

LATE ARRIVALS

  • Thanks to our clients, we are often booked back to back. So to ensure that we deliver the best possible haircut, shave, and customer service to our clients, we have allocated the necessary time to complete each service. Arriving on time for your scheduled appointment ensures the proper time required for us to complete your services comfortably. We regretfully cannot satisfactorily complete any service if a client arrives more than 5 minutes late. We reserve the right to decline any service to a client who is 10 minutes late for their scheduled appointment.

CANCELLATIONS

  • We require 24-hour advance notice for any appointment cancellations. You will receive a text 72 hours before your appointment, which will give you up until 24-hours before your appointment, for any last-minute changes. The online booking service will allow you to cancel your appointments as necessary. For any cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice, there will be a charge of 100% of the scheduled service. Two consecutive cancellations in less than 24 hours will cause a client to lose their online scheduling privileges, and we reserve the right to refuse future services to the client.

NO SHOWS

  • Failure to show up for a scheduled appointment will result in the 100% mentioned above fee. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse future services to any clients for failure to show up for an appointment without the courtesy of an advanced cancellation or notification.
